Special Events
In addition to publishing a monthly newsletter, the Reno Rose Society hosts many programs, workshops, and entertaining events throughout the year. Our major event for 2008 is A Day of Wine & Roses which includes our annual rose show, a wine tasting, art show, raffle, and luncheon. You are welcome to join us on June 14th for this fun full-day event. Information and show schedules can be found at

We also co-host with the City of Reno Parks and Recreation Department a free public pruning demonstration at the Reno Municipal Rose Garden on the last Saturday in March. Come get learn how to prune and get tips from ARS-accredited Consulting Rosarians who will be on hand to answer your questions and help you grow beautiful roses.
