The show will be held in the California Building which is just west of
the Reno Municipal Rose Garden where our annual pruning demonstration is held. You can find directions to the California Building and the Reno Municipal Rose Garden here.

Trophies, Awards & Certificates awarded in this show include:

Many of these silver tropies are over 40 years old and were donated by businesses and Society supporters. Only persons who continue to be and have been members of the Reno Rose Society for at least a year prior to the show are eligible to receive any of the perpetual trophies. The awardee's name is engraved on the trophy and the awardee has possession of the trophy for one year. These trophies remain the property of the Society. |

These trophies are given to winners of specific classes listed in the schedule. They are sponsored by Society members, rose lovers, and businesses in our area. |

These awards are presented to exhibitors for having the best entry in certain entry classes and meeting standards set by the American Rose Soceity for those classes. |
Classification and placement are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Clerks will be present to assist with classification and placement questions. Judging in Divisions I, II and V will be according to rules, regulations, and guidelines of the American Rose Society. Please refer to pages 5 and 7. Judging rules in Division III and IV will be similar to rules and practices of the Reno-Sparks Executive Board of Garden Clubs and are listed on pages 9 and 10. It is highly recommended that exhibitors call to reserve space for challenge classes in Division I Section 6.
Space for entries in Divisions II & IV (arrangements) and Division V (photography) will not be guaranteed without reservations made before 11 am on June 18. To reserve space leave a message with your name, telephone number, and planned class entry(ies) at 746-1140. Your reserved space(s) will be indicated on the entry tables. Note that the entry times for Divisions I-V are the same for all divisions.
Note that only judges, clerks, and authorized Committee personnel will be permitted in the show area during judging. |
