The Reno Ikenobo Ikebana Study Group is part of the Northern California Chapter of the Ikenobo Ikebana Society of America. Ikenobo is the oldest organized school of Japanese flower arranging and is the Origin of Ikebana. The Reno Study Group meets on a quasi-monthly basis for instruction in flower arranging. Please see our information circular for more details.

Event Information

Information for 2011 local activities and  2011 and 2012 out-of-area events are listed below.

There are participant fees for most workshops and seminars to cover the cost of materials and speakers.

The rose and flower show in mid-June is free and open to the public. There is no instructor fee for the June pre-show workshops, and participants can arrange to purchase plant materials.
