March 31, 2012 Public Pruning Demonstration
Our annual free pruning demonstration an opportunity to learn how to prune and take care of roses in the spring. It is also a volunteer opportunity for those who want to help keep our local public gardens beautiful. Bring your pruners and loppers. Do not forget your gloves! The demonstration will begin at 11 am with speakers including our own Consulting Rosarians certified by the American Rose Society: Richard Harris, Ann Marie Harris, Rebecca Shaw, Teresa Atkinson, and Mimi Swearngin. The first 50 attendees will receive a coupon good for the sharpening of one pruner.
